I truly think that I can say this with certainty, one of the things I looked forward to most about going to college was being able to eat cookie dough at my own dang freedom. If you’re already smirking in your head, same. I actually looked forward to college so I could eat cookie dough whenever I wanted without being questioned on the raw eggs.

 

Obviously there are many other reasons why I looked forward to college but for now, were talking about cookie dough. Just like how pizza has become a culture in our society, I feel the same for cookie dough. When you love cookie dough you could talk about it for hours, try every different type and you’ll almost never turn it down (and I only say almost because I don’t like to say never). Cookie dough is a house staple when it comes to getting every one in the kitchen chatting, nibbling, and bonding.

 

 

I like using the mini chocolate chips so there are some in every bite!

 

I have so many fond memories growing up of eating cookie dough while having amazing conversations. However, one thing that was always addressed was the raw egg. I think I just chose to believe that nothing would happen because I was willing to take the risk, and luckily nothing happened. Looking back today, it was younger me, curious and rebellious as ever.

 

The raw egg really does matter and it is not safe to eat especially with today’s meat and dairy industry. That’s why older, more responsible me created this edible cookie dough dip because it’s not cool to not care. It’s actually really cool to care and to be proactive, preventative, and present.

 

 

So I made this cookie dough dip as a simple and easy sweet treat staple. To bring people together while keeping them healthy and happy. Perfect to bring to a holiday party, your friends apartment for Sunday night shows, or to make at home with your friends or family just to hang out and chill. The best part is, if there happens to be any left over, you can form it into one ball or a few small balls and pop it in the oven. For when you then get in the mood for the actual cookie…

 

I guess we can say you’re having your cookie and eating it too.

 

Ingredients

Almond Butter (I used crunchy) 

Coconut Milk

Simply Organics Vanilla Extract

Baking Soda

Bob’s Red Mill Almond Flour

Maple Syrup

Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions
  1. In large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well combined. THAT'S IT!
  2. Eat and enjoy!
  3. If there is leftover batter after dipping, roll into one cookie or create small cookies and cook in oven on 350* for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Store in refrigerator if anything is even left 😉
