These lavender lemon beauty balls are the ultimate summer recipe. For some reason whenever I hear lavendar in a recipe, I always feel fancy, like I’m eating something really decadent and feminine and pretty.

Not only are these beauty balls the perfect sweet snack, but they’re an ideal breakfast on the go as well. They’re super low in sugar and since the lemon gives them a bit of tartness along with a light sweetness, they are refreshing and won’t leave you craving sweets for the rest of the day like something with chocolate might.

Let’s talk about this Lavender Lemon Beauty Collagen from Vital Proteins for a second. If you’ve been here for a while you know my obsession and love affair with Vital Proteins is real. I absolutely love all of their products. They are versatile, delicious, and come in travel packs (like the ones pictured here) so you never have to be without them!

I use the collagen peptides every single day in my coffee, and usually in my smoothies or anything else throughout the day I can add them to as well. However, this beauty collagen is a little different. It is lavender lemon flavored (yum) but it is also made with hyaluronic acid and probiotics which help support the glow and tone of your skin.

I know, I know, sometimes when you read testimonials or advertisements on products that support the tone or glow of your skin you might be a bit skeptical, but the one thing I am not when it comes to Vital Proteins products is skeptical.

When I started taking the collagen peptides it was mainly for protein. I add it into my morning coffee along with my healthy fats and it’s usually the only thing I consume in the morning for a few hours. After doing this consistently every day for days, and now months, I randomly started to notice changes in my body that at first I didn’t even relate to collagen consumption.

At my routine nail appointment my manicurist mentioned something to me about how strong my nails were, and when she was cutting them I had never heard a sound like that in my life from my own nails. It sounded like she was cutting rocks! Then, I started realizing a lot of people had been commenting on my skin lately and asking if I was expecting because I was glowing. Lastly, I went to get a hair cut at a new salon and the girl asked me when the last time I got a cut was, and when I told her and showed her a picture of the last haircut she was shocked at how quickly my hair grew in so little time.

It was right there that I put two and two together and realized all of these things were actual results from consuming collagen consistently on a regular basis, long enough to see results. If you can imagine, I am now a huge advocate for collagen!

Collagen has changed my life in so many ways, from helping me with protein deficiency, to curing my weak nails, helping my skin elasticity and having a healthier gut. It works wonders and the fact that it is so easy to use in recipes makes it almost too good to be true. It’s one of the best investmints I’ve ever made in regards to my health.
